Summer Immersion- Wake Forest University
Eligibility: Rising 10th-12th Graders
About program: The program will offer fifteen institutes (Biosciences and Engineering, Business, Dance, Debate and Public Advocacy, Documentary Film, Health and Exercise Science, Health and Wellbeing, Law, Leadership, Medicine, Neuroscience, Policy and Politics, Psychology, Sports Medicine, Technology, Visual Arts).

Red Hat Shelton Challenge- NC State University or UNC Charlotte
Eligibility: Must be a high school student
About program: The core curriculum of this six-day summer program is based on General Shelton’s five cornerstones of values-based leadership: honesty, integrity, diversity, social responsibility and compassion.

About program: Summer enrichment and college access program designed to promote and increase access to higher education for all outstanding students, especially those underrepresented in post-secondary education.

About program: An intensive, 5-week summer academic enrichment and college readiness program. This program is only for NC residents. During the program, participants live on campus, attend SAT/ACT coaching sessions and take English 100 (3 credits).

Eligibility: Rising 9th grader, Must be African- American, Hispanic American or Native American
About program: An innovative interdisciplinary academic program that uses exciting real-world subjects to challenge rising 9th graders across North Carolina and build their skills in science, math, and communications.
Eligibility: Must currently be a sophomore, rising 11th grader
About program: Students will explore a variety of opportunities in STEM, as well as participating in leadership development activities. This program is open to 10th grade students from rural or underfunded communities in North Carolina.
About program: Gives high achieving high school students, interested in pursuing a college degree in business, a premier summer experience exploring the different disciplines within business

About program: A pre-college summer enrichment program that enables high-achieving rising juniors from rural communities in North Carolina to experience college life on Carolina‘s historic campus.
About program: 6-day summer program for Latinx rising high school juniors and seniors. Students will participate in college preparation and leadership skills development.
About program: An immersive, residential program covering the range of studio disciplines offered at the College of Design: architecture, landscape architecture, industrial design, art + design, and graphic design.

About program: A two-week residential camp for students designed to help high school students (age 15-17) learn about careers in plant science and veterinary medicine.
Summer Textile Exploration Program (STEP)- NC State University
Eligibility: Rising 12th graders
About program: STEP is a residential program for rising high school seniors to experience a taste of NC State life by working with Wilson College of Textiles professors in a project area of their interest.
Program Dates: 1st Week: June 14-19 2nd Week: June 21-26 3rd Week: July 5-10 4th Week: July 12-17 5th Week: July 19-24 5th week is meant for students from non-metropolitan NC areas
Program Cost: $350, financial assistance is available
About program: Students spend a week on campus and meet diverse students from all over the globe and immerse themselves in a specific engineering workshop of their choosing.
Young Investigators’ Summer Program in Nuclear Engineering- NC State
Eligibility: Rising 11th and 12th graders
About program: Is a residential academic experience that engages participants in the role that nuclear technologies play in meeting the needs of society and solving everyday problems.
Program Dates: July 13-31
Program Cost: $1500, partial tuition assistance available
TMCF Fleischer HBCU Scholars Program- Fayetteville State University
Eligibility: Rising 12th graders
About program: The program provides economically disadvantaged high school students an opportunity to discover all aspects of business education, with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, through a week-long stay at FSU's campus.everyday problems.
Clemson University Summer Scholars Info: Summer Scholars Program offers exciting experiences for academically talented middle and high school students from across the globe. Scholars will participate in challenging academic courses on a specific topic or area of interest, learn along side University faculty, get a real preview of college life, and attend special workshops on topics such as college admission, career guidance, and financial aid.
